Green Economy

I don’t think people understand that you can’t fix an economy, let alone a entire world in crisis with greed existing in policy making positions. Greed is a human flaw that makes another insist on taking a bigger share of the pie then others, who need their equal share to sustain. Greed even robs Mother Nature of the pie pan, so no one can have pie again, even the greedy. This behavior makes it pretty clear that greed is more than a flaw, it’s a mental sickness because it lacks logic, so in reality, greed is a form of mental insanity or spiritual insanity.

How do people get behind a proposed “Green Economy” lead by the individuals whose greed create the problem in the first place? Their promises to “change” is only a ploy to give them time to adjust and refine their intent to gain great wealth, by continuing to starve those without the “Greed Flaw”. There will be no such thing as a Green Economy until the greedy acknowledge and show responsibility – at the same time getting on their knees begging Mother Earth for her forgiveness. Until you see this, all we’ll continue to have is a “Greed Economy”.

    Mali,

Dead on!! What will it take for people to see they’re repeating the same mistake. Doing the same thing is just that, how can repeated actions equate to change?

… that Lewis Black is a funny one… “…is there anybody home”, really…

    LOVE IT

Well put Mali – esp., “Greed Economy”. People are setting themselves up for for the biggest let down ever because this time there’s no room for mistakes. The people we choose to trust with our futures today have to make the right choices from the heart, or it’s lights out.

    Rey,

We’re so on the same page! Reading you’re post remind me of myself – I feel like I already know you.

Choosing future leaders who understand the positive effects of fairness and proper energy management will effectively build this Green Economy and a society that is less wasteful – eliminating greed.

    Jas,

I agree, but it’s insane to think for one moment that our society can move forward building a natural economy without first addressing problems that should take precedence over others, like racism. Racism fuels the type of greed spawned by fear. There are extremely insecure individuals who feel by completing and winning against someone they view as different than themselves, that they are better, easing those insecurities for a short time.

Focusing on great wealth and achieving it, makes the insecure individual, trapped by their fear, feel like they’ve created a sizable distance between themselves and their competition, that their competition will never catch-up, so the competition is eliminated in a sense. “Getting rid of the competition” allows their false self-image and social class ranking to feel safe and secure – in their mind. This “negative” outlook on Life destroys all good structure with pure intent, almost before the building can start. It was inevitable that this system, built on separation and greed would reach its end, giving way for a new one, or another chance to get it right.

The majority of society, while thinking they’re so “positive”, have been conditioned to be “negative” by seeing the dividing lines. Humanity’s competitive “un-nature” is the 1st problems that needs to be addressed, because it is the source of racism, and it’s impossible to build anything “GOOD” without a genuine willingness to work together. Anyone who believes otherwise is lying and deluding themselves – and finds out the truth the hard way.

Check out this video from Hulu, you can see the levels of absurdity, but it’s still not enough to make people willing to change, esp. when it comes down to themselves or the person who doesn’t look like them.

I wish it was different

    hi, i’m dana everyone.

mali, i dug this on digg and decided to check you out. i love what you’re doin’ with your music and this website :smlie:

I like what you said about being negative and thinking you’re positive. I have a lot of friends on both sides of the race fence that don’t know how to not see the “dividing lines”. They try to make me see them or take sides, but it’s not me, nor who I want to be. I like openness and like minded people who are really positive without trying. I think not having to try to be positive speaks volumes about a person spirit.

I like the way Lewis Black gets so worked up about BS…. freakin’ funny. I think when comedians use their comedy as a platform to express how messed-up things are, there should be alot of emotion behind it. It shows they really care and still have heart.

    peace,

    dada
